I’ve always loved High Street Bakery so when this restaurant opened I knew I had to try it out - expectations were exceeded! Brunch was delicious and visually really pretty, the interior had a lovely & elegant atmosphere. Pastries were delectable as usual, the pistachio croissant was brilliant, and brunch dishes were flavorful and fresh. I want to come here every weekend ❤️
Another great meal at the new High Street! (Not a great pic of the menu but thought I’d be helpful to see!) the space is on point, and the booth we had so enjoyable with the Philadelphia themed decorations. The food was awesome! We had most of the menu and really can’t go wrong. I love being able to share a salad and small plates, pizza and pasta, and an entree if you so desire. It’s epicurean causal with fantastic food. Beer and wine list were a hit. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
The new High Street Philly is stellar, period. It's divine, it's amazing. I'm in awe. ❤️
Ellen Yin never misses, this is what sticking beside something regardless looks like⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Try the $75 per person tasting menu, and this is the food you'll get. You're welcome 👍🏾
P.S. That "canolli" dessert at the end is the best restaurant dessert I've had this year. Shout-out to Kate the Pastry Chef 🔥
Love this place. I had the creste di gallo pasta. It was delicious. My wife had the roman style gnocchi it was also amazing! This is a great place in town to grab a quick meal or to hang out after work for a cocktail or two.
Sandwiches were good, albeit a little pricey. Didn’t go for chips either because they were $5 per single serve bag. I’d stop in if you needed something quick. The tofu banh mi was tasty.
This is a small business. Limited seating, about 3- 4 small tables. The pastrami on rye had tender meat. Less fatty than what I'm used but still packed flavor. Had the mustard and slaw added to it already. Thick homemade rye bread which held the sandwich together. I normally don't eat pork but the roast pork sandwich...omg 😋 The broccoli rabe gives a nice bitter taste. And the Kimchi rabe gives it a nice kick that is needed. The juices of all the ingredients combine together to make the right sandwich.
We had the pastrami breakfast sandwiches and oh boy that was a treat. Tasty pastrami with a over easy egg and a slightly sweet bun to balance out the flavor, I would highly recommend it! The pound cake with coffee icing was also phenomenal and the quick grab cold brew had plenty of umph as well. All in all good service and delicious food, would come back and try more!
Not a great experience for me, bought one of the Hoagies. While eating it in my car I noticed this little critter drop out of it. Hopefully I didn’t eat one! I’m sure it came from the lettuce , still kinda grossed me out and didn’t care to finish the sandwich after that. The few bites that I did have , tasted fine.
